This weekend we had our annual mother daughter weekend away
in the mountains. For the past 5 or so years we have been going to Fernie to
celebrate, however this year we decided to spend the weekend in Canmore. So
much closer when travelling with babies. And on that note, there were two
little additions to our group this year which took us from 9 girls to 11.
Aliyah and Alexandra were able to join us and it was oh so fun. We all drove
out on Friday night spent Friday night & Saturday night and came home today.
Friday night we hung out at the beautiful condo called Copperstone Resort.
Carla & Courtney made dinner on Friday night. Then Saturday morning mom and
I were in charge of dinner. We made Ree Drumonds overnight French toast and oh
man was it good. Saturday we went into Canmore for a pub lunch which was so
fantastic. Saturday night we hung out again at the condo and stayed up WAY to
late, so definitely looking forward to an early night tonight. Already cant
wait for next years get away. We chatted about doing it in May next year so
that we could spend a little more time outside. Such a fun weekend, I am so
glad that we started these annual get a way’s.
