Its Beginning To Look A lot Like Christmas

Well folks, December is  here, and boy oh boy does it fly by. Every year I can't get over how fast December whizzes on by. I had a massive list of Christmas actives that I wanted to do with Alexandra, and i am lucky if i have done three of them. Always such a fun month though, with lots of time for friend, family and of course...cookies. And, the very most exciting news of all, my very best friend and her husband had their first bundle of joy. A baby girl named Navy Maya, such a gorgeous name. I get to meet the little munchkin on Saturday and I can not wait!!!

Ali opened a December 1st box filled with lots of goodies for the month of December. I think she was quite pleased with the box.

We went with all the moms and babies to see Max & Ruby The Nutcracker - such a hit

Ali had her first sleepover party with her BFF, Penny

And last, but definitely not least, a visit with Santa, that went remarkably well.

Halloween

Last weekend was Ali's second Halloween and a great one it was. Rockson was out of town so it was just the little lady bug and i handing out candy, and she had a great time, let me tell you. She was not so impressed when the kids weren't constantly at our door. Then on Saturday we had our kids halloween party. What a fun night and so cute to see the kids all dressed up!

Back at 'er

I am not even going to begin to play catch up...because there is just way too much. We have an amazing, but very busy summer. We had Mrs. Yoo come to visit, I started back to work (which is probably, definitely, the real reason i have had troubles keeping this up), we made a trip back east to visit family and WE MOVED!!!

Over the next week or so, i will touch on a few key events though. Starting with our trip back to Ontario. We had such a fantastic visit. We were there fro two whole weeks, so we were able to have a nice visit with everyone, of course, never long enough. The weather also wasn't great. Growing up, we used to spend every summer at Port, and it was ALWAYS hot, lately, that hasn't been the case. Oh well, such is life, we still always have an amazing time.

Heritage Park

Last week, Mom, Molly, Alexandra and I spent the day at Heritage Park. It was a beautiful day out, and we had an absolute blast. Mom gave me a gift card for Heritage Park last year for one of Alexandra's showers. I am so glad we had a chance to use it together and I can't wait to go many more times this summer. Alexandra loved it! She loved the horses, the train and especially loved to people watch just like the rest of us.

High Tea!

For our Mother's Day gifts, Shannon, D'neile and I decided to take our moms to the High Tea at the Palliser hotel this weekend. It was such a fun afternoon. We really enjoyed the high tea and then headed to Murrieta's after for a martini. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Mother's Day

Catch up as you can see -
This was an extra special Mother's Day because we were able to also spend it with Rockson's mom. We had our annual brunch at the Delta hotel which is always so wonderful. There was 9 of us this year, so it was wonderful to have a large group. After brunch, Rockson & Dad went to play golf, Rockson's mom headed to Edmonton, so Alexandra and I went back to hang out with mom for the afternoon. It was such a wonderful relaxing Sunday. I love Mother's Day.
